What is even the purpose of this development?
Also funny how if you crash this you go, oh damn we hit the ground but if you hit in a plane you go boom. I mean - maybe that’s the point?

not 100% sure but i think its a more efficient way of large load transportation or it can be a sort of cruise ship in the sky.

Heavy lift mainly, for places that are more difficult to get to, where flying in a straight line instead of a crap road in a truck is more energy and not much better on time. The military was messing around with it too.
